2-Minute Neuroscience: Cerebellum
In my 2-Minute Neuroscience videos I simplistically explain neuroscience topics in 2 minutes or less. In this video, I discuss the cerebellum. I describe the location of the cerebellum in the nervous system and its role in facilitating movement. I cover the different regions of the cerebellum: the cerebrocerebellum, spinocerebellum, vermis, and vestibulocerebellum. Lastly, I discuss the cerebellar peduncles as the routes by which the cerebellum communicates with the rest of the nervous system and the deep cerebellar nuclei as the primary output cells of the cerebellum.
