When imagining schizophrenia, most people envision only one aspect of the disorder, not realizing that schizophrenia has a variety of symptoms, all of which require different forms of care and treatment. False preconceived notions about schizophrenia damage a patient’s chances of improvement. This video aims to briefly clarify what the known symptoms and common treatments of schizophrenia disorder are, as well as offer a variety of resources for those interested in reaching out, and/or providing help for a loved one in need.
