Six year old Cameron Mott had half her brain removed three weeks ago – today she pedals down the hospital corridor on a tricycle, laughing as she cycles. Her parents believe it is nothing short of a miracle and even her neurosurgeon admits to being amazed by the recovery his child patients make after this radical procedure. Meanwhile in Great Ormond Street Hospital a fourteen year old boy with epilepsy, Sean Goldthorpe, has his brain connected by wires to a machine to pinpoint which part of Sean’s brain is causing his fits.
