You Can Be Killed For Being Atheist In 13 Countries

According to a new study, in 13 countries around the world, people who are openly atheist or reject the official state religion of Islam face execution under the law.

The study is called “The Freethought Report 2013” and was issued by the International Humanist and Ethical Union (IHEU), a global body uniting atheists, agnostics and other religious skeptics.

Often times the punishment for either blasphamy or apostasy (renouncing belief or switching religions) is public beheading. One day will people read about this period of time and compare it to when we used to arrest and kill anyone who spoke out against the church like scientists and astronomers?
