Your Brain on Stress and Anxiety

[4:41]
SO IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTAND HOW THE BRAIN WORKS!……Observe how comfortable you are in this specific seat you’re in right now, it was most probably the same / similar sitting style as the previous time you sat in the same chair…. It will be the same / similar tomorrow also… You didn’t consciously choose that same position today, it just happened to you. Thousands of automatic processes beyond our conscious awareness that repeat continuously through each day as the brain loves forming patterns of movement and thought…. Most of the multitude of automatic processes are just trivial… Who cares how we sit as long as it feels comfortable right? However, some automatic processes that just happen to us can lead to harm. Stress and anxiety thought patterns for example can eventually weaken the immune system which can then lead to a variety of diseases that could have been avoided with a shift in perception.
Constant negative thoughts and reactions settle in automatically just like thousands of other brain forming patterns… We are left assuming we chose that ‘angry’ reaction for example, for the ‘bad’ that happened, unaware that we are puppets to that pattern forming brain which most probably reacted in the same manner on previous occasions for similar scenarios and will again in the future. Reaction cues activated from stimuli coming through the senses that flow through the various areas of the brain as shown in the video presentation, triggering same / similar patterns time after time. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH ‘ME’, BUT MORE TO DO WITH ANOTHER ‘ME’ WORKING INDEPENDENTLY IN THE BRAIN. The other me, not really me as it has its own mind, but belongs in a brain that ‘we’ all own…..THE FORTUNATE / UNFORTUNATE PARADOX. It’s great that the brain deals with many things left to its own devices, but has its dark side too…
We all have that really cool uncle who stays calm under pressure and is smiling all the time no matter what…. and we also all have that moody neighbor that complains about everything, a contrast of characters…. Are they really consciously thoughtful consistently with each reaction they have year after year or are they just not realizing that their reactions are automatic and their identity just happened to them?…. My guess would be that they are both mainly automatic and accidental. The cool uncle becomes a favorite, and the moody neighbor most try to avoid, but both are in fact equal in the context that they are unaware of the automatic processes of the brain having a lot to do with shaping their identity. Genes, circumstances and environment all have their part to play in molding an identity and all of its details, all within a very complex process…. Consistently, patterns are formed and repeated, same / similar for many years as neuronal memories are formed….. Meet an old school friend you haven’t seen for 20 years, you will notice many similar traits to how they were back then…. I don’t remember forming my specific British accent, it just happened to me… The brain found a way to blend into it’s surroundings and mirrored the accent it was hearing most often… A great aid to survival… We fit in to the masses and that feels safe…
We are an era who does not want to observe that reality… We are an era of ego… It’s so important for us still be within that notion of ‘me’ being important, with the assumption of I chose to be the me that exists…. There’s no rights and wrongs with that, it’s simply only 2017 and we are not a paradigm of civilization that can be aware collectively of why we are how we are in reality… The brain forming ego, which then forms biases, all automatically, and then that ego spends a lifetime justifying it’s version of events with a particular personality coating it… I call this the innocent ignorant era… We just can’t observe the reality of how the brain works. Within this ignorance, that ego, trying to cope with thousands of information through the day, finds a convenient, comfortable way to cope with those automatic processes formed… The ego will be part of hundreds of contradictions each day and the majority will have no idea that they have any…. The pattern forming brain just wants to survive… It found an erratic way to deal with modern life accordingly, brushing contradictions under the carpet, hidden from view as it argues with its logic with someone else. Who we are has nothing to do with intelligent thought processes, but instead, appropriateness. Real intelligent thought process is constantly aware of possible self-biases and you will rarely find a person who is in that advanced state of awareness.
When we start being aware of the real goings on of brain / mind forming ego, then we can consider real peace, love and unity… In the mean time, our ego’s will create continual mass confusion, appropriateness and contradiction… It’s as simple as that… Once aware, we can then create a pathway to more efficient systems for the greater good and not assumed ones. From new awareness we will want to move away from elevated status assumptions and lean more toward compassionate tendencies. I WILL HAVE WAY TOO MANY CONTRADICTIONS ABOUT MY DAY TODAY, IT’S NOT ROCKET SCIENCE TO OBSERVE…. Can we all observe how difficult it is to admit the same thing though? 🙂
