Out of sight, out of mind…. Factory farming, slaughter houses, would we change our shopping habits if we saw what was really going on behind the scenes? I eat meat, I enjoy it too much, I’ve contemplated veganism, but my mindset nowhere near going there… Mum’s cooking… Just too good and all associated with addiction to foods and textures and and and…
However, I have confirmed in my mind that I will never buy / wear a leather jacket ever again and other leather clothing / accessories…. I won’t lie… Formal shoes are hard to find in non-leather, but please someone highlight my naivety there in the comment box, suggestions welcome of quality substitute sources… Things aren’t right…. I won’t be a hypocrite, I could do a lot more if I truly care about animals and progress in general, but I can only do my version of one step at a time…. Complex brain, biases, habits and twisted morality is what we are all about, so change is never easy… It does not mean we stop fighting for good causes though right? I love fighting my mind, so much fun, does not have to be stressful!
