Stephen Hawking: There is no God
[1:33]
THE RELIGIOUS MUST BE BRAVE AND ASK WHY….
Stephen Hawking is one of many modern day, elite scientists who are atheists…Quite a few scientists are religious, but the elite, at the very top are all except for a tiny percentage non-believers. Rather than avoid the words of such renowned researchers, of which the majority reject religious dogma due in large part to their research over time, but who at the same time have only good intentions, helping make the world a better place with their immense contributions.
There comes a time when the religious must stop conveniently sidestepping these geniuses atheism world view and ask why they all avoid religious dogma…. Is it not all of our responsibility to be honest, to want to improve, care and share for the greater good when discussing world issues? The irony being, it’s actually the religious with their lack of interest in shifting viewpoints due to their beliefs, even when reason and evidence is staring them directly in the face, offered to us by these scientists research, time after time proving in the process why religious scriptures are man made fiction, political agendas from 1500+ years ago and who simply didn’t have the knowledge we have in this era….. There’s no evil intent, there’s no conspiracy… Research well enough and it’s then easy to become a non-believer of the dogmatic faiths that exist.
To continually avoid the voice and opinion of these geniuses is unethical, immoral, and nothing to do with the compassion that believers assume they have just because they carry a label of Jew, Christian, Muslim or whatever…. I find most labeled religious people uninterested in their faith anyway but activate it on necessity, especially when that special date comes around and it’s time to be sheep to cultural norms or face ridicule from those around…
The majority carry the religiosity ‘label’ that when added together may add up to 2 billion people for Christianity and 1.5 billion followers of Islam, but so what when the majority of those are just ignorant, uneducated and uninterested in their faith 360/365 days of the year anyway? Do believers want good things to happen in the world?…. Do people ever take a little peep into the mirror on occasion? Religious label carried by an individual for me really means IGNORANCE….
I have never met a religious person who can have a deep conversation with the actual depth that it requires…. All that is expressed is ego convenience and appropriateness. This post is rude, yes it is blunt, but not even a fraction of the rudeness and arrogance of the labeled convenient religious who have very little to offer but foolish pride on way too many occasions who serve as an obstacle for progress with their 360/365 day convenience.
I love peaceful, understanding street epistemology when debating issues. Politeness without causing friction is so important, however, sometimes I like just diving in and saying it as it is! It’s not actually arrogant, it’s just some reality people have to cope with! The friction is caused due to them not being able to cope with the actual reality expressed.
Serious followers of the major religions means that homosexuals will not be understood via genetics and neuroscience but just rejected due to a books written from 1500+ years ago… Stem cell research was set back because of Christian fundamentalists views…. The major catastrophes of the world, the terrorist attacks on the modern world on, innocent people are all fueled by the 360/365ers who instead of getting up off their arse and thinking, belong to the billions who fuel the idiot fundamentalists…. Way too much ignorance occurs when religion blends into culture and politics.
MAKE A STANCE, YOU ARE BEING TOO LAZY! Many convenient believers will read this blog, they unfortunately will be too frightened to make a comment though…. It’s been the same for the last 6 months since this project began! Good people just do good…. No need for labels to help one and other…. Labels are just a poor excuse to feel safe, comfortable and assume all will be OK. Nonsense!
