Why is sexual promiscuity seen as so immoral?

SEX! There is still a catch. Many societies across the globe judge negatively when a female is promiscuous, however should this be the case in 2016? Consented sex can be a lot of fun, so are their reasonable arguments to why it should not escape from the ‘morality’ clasp?
