10 EXTREMELY Weird Religions

WE ARE ALL WEIRD TO SOME EXTENT…. I repeat…86 billion neurons and from there trillions of connections between them. We can contemplate the future with emotion, reflect on the past with emotion and the ability to communicate using advanced language capability unique to us humans, simply means none of us can escape bad habits, addiction, contradiction, and lots of other weird, irrational, erratic thoughts and actions as coping mechanisms through life. Most of us can keep our weirdness levels balanced out within a ‘normal’ life (whatever that means) and play them out hidden from view as best as possible….
I would not dare to express even 10 of my bad habits / weirdness here in the fear of being laughed at and ridiculed… I feel liberated though that I don’t pretend to be some kind of super human with a ‘better’ than others, clean and perfect aura about me, … My brain has trillions of connections too, dealing with all sorts of experiences and circumstance. Ironically it’s a relief that I’m weird, confirms that I am human. 🙂 I’m happy that I can observe myself honestly, stepping aside from a strong desire to feed a naturally formed ego and delude myself sharing an act of guru like righteousness. I’M FAR FROM PERFECT AND QUITE CONTENT WITH THAT. 🙂
The definition of weird also enters an ambiguous territory. What may be weird for you is perfectly normal for someone else. Normal tends to be confirmed the larger or familiar a group thinking and acting similar becomes. If Scientologists claimed that their master was born of a virgin, walked on water and was raised from the dead, they would be perceived as even more weird than they are already by the mainstream… 2.5 billion believers of the Christian faith with a following for over 2000 years creates a validation of normality for those specific faith based ideas though in comparison.
With 7.5 billion people alive today across the globe all with a creative brain dealing with various circumstances, ANYTHING GOES!!!…. If you can think it, someone’s trying it! 😉
