QUESTION: Bat and ball cost $1.10 in total… The bat costs $1 more than the ball… How much does the ball cost? Maybe you can solve this puzzle, but be sure to know that most would answer 10 cents… Maybe feel your own brain sucking you in to answer 10 cents too even if you answered correctly…. Now shift from the puzzle and observe how people form their beliefs and thoughts… Most nations have a religious majority… Why? Many regions form a political majority… Why?….
Because they are primed by a brain that is set up to give 10 cents as the answer to the puzzle… Our brain is not a thinking, compassionate brain, we have to teach it to be that way… Our brain is an automatic, appropriate and best alternative creating brain…It wants to survive and will follow majorities and convenient norms, it does not give two f*cks about being rational in the process. The disease of humanity is, we can’t observe these cognitive biases yet, but end up believing our own bs and spend a lifetime justifying it.
Let’s hope the future technology presented in this video can help evolve our lack of awareness collectively. The lack of is the worst disease out there…
